Turning Interest Into Action

Little Girl Project is a campaign and project to bring awareness and change to our society regarding child abuse, sexual abuse and bullying.

Children nowadays are brought up in horrific circumstances with adults who are unhealed and incapable of giving the safety, care and love that every child needs and deserves.

4 Quick Facts

1 in 5 Children Experience Sexual Violence

This means that every fifth person you meet is a Survivor. It is far more common than we realize.

Child Sexual Abuse Affects All Genders

It is just as common among men, women, and non-binary people. However, men are often more afraid to discuss it openly. That is why awareness is so important.

1 in 3 NEVER Tell Anyone

1 in 3 Survivors never tell anyone about their experience, keeping the pain and shame buried within. It is a heavy burden to carry alone. But remember, it is not yours to bear, and you are not alone.

Every SECOND, More Than 2 Images and Videos of Child Sexual Abuse Are Shared Online

That is why we must act now. Sign the petition by clicking the fact above and help make the internet #SafeForOurKids.

Founder: Scharliina Eräpuro

I am a 25-year-old artist, activist, entrepreneur, actress, model, and songwriter. I lead this project with passion and dedication.

I grew up in an unstable home, where I experienced violence and abuse from adults—mentally, physically, and sexually. I was also bullied at school for standing up for others. Yet, I have always had the drive and ambition to fight for justice. We all should.

I found my own path to healing and coping with my experiences through creativity. My artistic expression became my way to heal. That is why I am inspired to raise awareness and help others through this work.

In my healing journey, I held on to the hope that there had to be a purpose behind the suffering, injustice, and pain I endured. And I found it—through founding this project. My goal is to help other survivors find their way back home within themselves and, in the long run, to educate others and prevent future generations from experiencing violence and abuse in our communities.

If not me, then who? If not now, when?
